Non loin de l’Institut de Saint-Lô, ce square doit son nom à un officier américain ayant commandé le 406ème groupe de chasse qui était intervenu en repérage dès mai 1944 avant de participer à la bataille de Normandie, puis à la libération de la France et de la Belgique. Vous pourrez y trouver une hélice d’avion.
