Exposition "Amandine Bourbon-Toulan"

The exhibition, dedicated to illustrator Amandine Bourbon-Toulan, is on display in the permanent exhibition and in a digital format, and bears witness to young artists? still perceptible links with the Impressionist painters, and to the possible dialogue between digital innovation, painting and sustainable development.

Amandine Bourbon-Toulan, who was inspired to take up painting after visiting an exhibition by Paul Signac, is a jack-of-all-trades. She uses traditional painting techniques (gouache, watercolor), linocuts and drypoint, and also creates computer illustrations.

Like the Impressionist painters, Amandine Bourbon-Toulan is attentive to modernity and the landscape transformations for which she was responsible, and is concerned with the societal issue of sustainable development. Many of her illustrations bear witness to this, as does the risography technique she also uses.
