Théâtre Saint-Lô > "The black blues brothers"

Join us on December 14 at 7pm at the Saint-Lô theater for "The black blues brothers".

In an elegant nightclub reminiscent of the Cotton Club, following the whims of an extravagant vintage radio playing rhythm?n?blues music from the soundtrack of the film The Blues Brothers, the bartender and waiters are transformed into performers.
They take turns balancing, performing acrobatics, creating human pyramids, limbo dancing with fire and much more.
The Black Blues Brothers, an acrobatic cabaret in homage to John Landis?s cult film, was created in 2014 by 5 Kenyan acrobats whose talent did not escape the seasoned eye of director Alexander Sunny, with whom they developed the show.
The Black Blues Brothers has played over 600 dates in more than 20 countries, attracting more than 300,000 spectators. At the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2023, it won over 15,000 spectators and was voted best physical theater show.

Written and directed by Alexander Sunny.
With Bilal Musa Huka, Rashid Amini Kulembwa, Seif Mohamed Mlevi, Mohamed Salim Mwakidudu and Peter Mnyamosi Obunde.
Stage direction: Electra Preisner and Ahara Bischoff.
