Join us on March 9 at 5pm at the Saint-Lô theater for the show "Mozart and Beethoven" by the "Le bruit des couverts" company, in partnership with the "Opus 50" orchestra.

Music comes into our lives because masters and geniuses have composed it for us. Mozart and Beethoven reach us at the root, where the spirit pulsates, breathes and feels.
Music sustains and carries the world. This is the story of a conference that gets off to a bad start.
Two passionate scholars present us with the indigestible program of a conference with an incomprehensible title. It takes the courage of a double bass player, who climbs on stage and begins "L'Hymne à la joie" to interrupt our two musicologists. He was soon joined by 30 musicians and a conductor, who somewhat altered the course of the lecture, revealing the buried passions of our two lecturers, one for Beethoven, the other for Mozart.
We gradually slip into a frenzied "battle", with each combatant using the orchestra to illustrate the genius of his protégé, even if it means pushing the embodiment beyond reason.
A dull lecture that veers off course into a game: that of two bookworms who, forgetting their studies and theories for a moment, go head-to-head for the fun of it.
