Join us on January 14 at 7.30pm at the Saint-Lô theater for the show "Sinon on te mange" with the "Nouvelle Hydre" collective.
Sinon on te mange depicts a family of contemporary ogres: ogres that they are, they no longer eat children. To satisfy their appetites, they eat raw vegetables. They eat astronomical quantities, all day long, at full speed and without thinking. Until FILLE recounts the time when she turned into a giant potato? Under the yoke of a curious curse, the characters find themselves threatened by the possibility of metamorphosing in their turn.
A series of events unfolds, leaving the family with the grotesque choice of saving each other. This show, based on an original script, takes the form of an extravagant, whimsical tale. The four performers navigate between theater, puppetry and video, using a language that is both comic and imaginative. These different techniques bring the unexpected into the real world, and bring us back to our limits: those of our stomachs and the invisible they represent.
By dissecting our inner selves with the help of imagination, the play offers a surprising approach to stomach and heart ailments.
Written and directed by Marc-Elie Piedagnel.
Acting: Laïs Argis, Mathilde Courcol-Rozès, Rémi Fransot, Louise Héritier.
