As part of the "La Manche met les villes en scène" festival, join us at the Théâtre des Halles in Tessy-Bocage for the "Blues for dos gardenias" concert with Raphaël Lemonnier & La Trova Project.

A project led by pianist and arranger Raphaël Lemonnier based on the fusion of Cuban chanson and Caribbean blues
Bringing together musicians from different horizons, Blues for dos gardenias celebrates the meeting of Trova, a repertoire of old Cuban love songs, and Caribbean blues, with the voices of Cuban Eliène Castillo and Andalusian Clara Tudela.

Rémi Charmasson?s electro-acoustic guitar and Raphaël Lemonnier?s keyboard enhance the songs with sublime melodies and uplifting rhythms. Beautiful balance and great sensitivity emerge from the ensemble.

Cuban songs, calypsos, mambos and old boleros tinged with jazz and blues blend together. Bolero becomes blues, blues becomes bolero. A magnificent alliance of sweetness, warm, tangy sounds and the frenzied rhythms of a reinvented Cuban Trova that makes you want to get up, dance and applaud.
